Jaya Guru Datta

Lalita Sahasranama

Lalita Sahasranama is a Sanskrit hymn containing the 1,000 names of the Divine Mother Lalita Devi, who is considered very auspicious for all areas of life. Sri Swamiji sings it in this video, among others.

How can I participate?

Like last year’s Guru Gita class, Arkaja Sadhu will offer online courses for European devotees and will teach the Lalita Sahasranama step by step. The courses will be held in English, and Arkaja will also explain the meaning of the verses. The group will be organized via WhatsApp.

Those interested can register using the following link and choose a preferred date for the online course. These will then take place weekly for one hour: https://form.jotform.com/232974292003050

The online classes begin with an introduction on June 15th at 7 p.m.

In Sri Swamiji’s Ashram, the Lalita Sahasranama is part of the Ashram prayers and is recited every Friday. It is also regularly sung during the Sri Chakra Puja and during the worship of Raja Rajeshwari Devi.

The Lalita Sahasranama could also be chanted by all of us in his presence on the occasion of Sri Swamiji’s next visit.

Sri Guru Gita

For anyone interested in chanting the Guru Gita, Arkaja offers monthly online parayanas (i.e., chanting the entire Guru Gita), where chanting can be further practiced and deepened. These dates are open to everyone. Anyone interested in chanting the Guru Gita and the monthly parayanas can sign up for the WhatsApp group, where all information will be shared.

with best wishes,
